When the first book, Nan's Journey, was published, pain had begun to take over my life. I found out that it was from Fibromyalgia. In order to occupy my mind while I was not able to do too much physical things, I wrote. I wrote and wrote and wrote. Sixteen books were the result of an attempt to escape pain and to try to be productive with my life. The Lord gave me the words and stories.
I have discovered the joy of living through pain and trusting the Lord completely. This year I have also been given a gift of a chance to escape much of the pain with a simple life change. Our sweet Cari and Mikey gave me "the blue box" for Christmas. Now, I feel so good, I can hardly sit still long enough to write.
I will get back to writing. It is just so joyful to be able to do things I haven't been able to do for eleven years. Send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want more information about 'the blue box'. I feel it is an answer to my prayers.
